Verification Promise

What the Verified badge means, what it does not cover, how to report an offer that stopped working, and what happens after you do.

Last updated: November 2, 2026

The "Verification Promise" is a statement about our checking process. These terms explain exactly what it means so you can rely on it for what it covers and not for what it does not. They are part of the Terms of Use of CloudAPIcredits, operated by {{COMPANY_LEGAL_NAME}}.

1. What we promise

Every offer on the Site that carries a "Verified" badge was checked by a member of our team on the verification date shown beside it. Checking means one of two things, and the offer card says which:

  • Page verified. We opened the provider's official page for the offer (a pricing page, a program page, documentation, or a terms page), confirmed that the offer was live, and recorded the credit amount, validity period, eligibility conditions and any payment-method requirement exactly as that page stated them.
  • Claim verified. We went further and claimed the offer on a test account of our own, following the provider's signup or application flow, and recorded what the provider granted and when it appeared in the console.

We record the provider, the offer, the date, time, checker and result, and we keep a screenshot of the official page. We re-check offers on the schedule in our Editorial Policy: every 7 days on pages that receive paid traffic, every 30 days elsewhere, and whenever a reader reports a problem.

That is the whole promise: on the stated date, the offer was live at the provider and the figures we show matched the provider's own page. We stand behind the accuracy of that record.

2. What we do not promise

We do not promise that an offer will work for you. Credits, trials and programs are issued and controlled by the providers, which can change, cap or end them without notice, and whether a credit lands in your account depends on conditions we cannot see from our side. In particular, we do not promise that:

  • an offer will still be available on the date you claim it, even if that is the same day as the verification date;
  • a provider will approve your application to a startup, research, education or partner program, or will do so within any particular time;
  • a credit will be granted to your specific account, for example if the provider limits the offer to new accounts, to accounts without a prior trial, to certain countries, or to accounts with a verified payment method;
  • the amount, validity period or covered services will match what we saw, if the provider has changed the terms;
  • a credit will apply to the models, regions or services you want to use, or will stack with another credit, a committed-use discount or a free tier;
  • your account will not be charged once the credit runs out or expires.

We also do not promise that a provider's pricing, rate limits or quotas will be as described on the Site at the time you use them. Those are set by the provider, as our Disclaimer explains.

3. No monetary compensation

There is no monetary compensation under the Verification Promise. If a verified offer does not work for you, we will not pay you the credit amount, cover any usage charges, send you a gift card, or provide any credit, reward or other thing of value. We cannot add credits to anyone's account; only the provider can. The remedy for an offer that stopped working is the one described in Section 5: we re-check it, and we mark it expired if it has ended.

The only exception is a separate written promotion that we publish under our Promotions Terms and that expressly offers a stated benefit for a stated situation. Nothing on an offer page, in a badge, in an ad or in a social post creates such a promotion unless it says in writing that it is one and links to its rules.

4. How to report an offer that stopped working

If a verified offer fails for you, tell us. The fastest way is the "Report this offer" link on the offer card, which opens a short form. You can also email {{CONTACT_EMAIL}} with the subject line "Offer not working". Include:

  • the provider and the offer;
  • the date and time you tried it, and whether you were creating a new account or using an existing one;
  • the exact message the provider showed, or a screenshot with your personal details, keys and billing identifiers cropped out;
  • whether the provider's page still shows the offer, if you looked.

We do not need your API keys, billing account ID, name or payment details, and you should not send them.

5. What happens after you report

  1. We log the report within one business day.
  2. A checker re-opens the official page and, where the original check was a claim check, repeats the claim on a fresh test account.
  3. If the re-check fails, we mark the offer "Expired" the same day and show the last date it was live. We also check whether the provider has published a replacement.
  4. If the re-check succeeds, we keep the offer listed, but we add any condition we learned from your report (for example, "not available to accounts that previously held a trial") so the next reader knows.
  5. If you gave us an email address, we tell you the outcome.

Reports help every reader after you, and they are the main reason our expired-offer rate stays low. We do not publish your name or any detail from a report without asking.

6. Verification dates and time zones

Verification dates are shown in Central Time. A badge that reads "Verified today" means the offer was checked in the current calendar day, Central Time. We display the date, not just "verified", so you can judge for yourself how fresh the check is.

7. Offers without a badge

Offers without a "Verified" badge are shown for completeness and are labeled "Unverified" or "Expired". The Verification Promise does not apply to them. We publish them only where they may still be useful, for example a program a provider reopens every year around the same date, and we say so.

8. Changes to these terms

We may change the checking process or these terms. The "Last updated" date will change when we do, and the Editorial Policy will reflect any change to re-check intervals. A change applies to offers verified after the change takes effect.
