Credit programs by type
A startup with a term sheet, a student with a .edu address and a solo developer testing an API qualify for very different programs. Each page ranks the providers for one kind of program and pulls in their live offers.
Startup credits Startup credits as of November 2026: up to $350,000 on Google Cloud, $200,000 from AWS Activate, $150,000 on Azure, $100,000 in Claude API credits. 
Student and education credits Student cloud credits as of November 2026: $100 on Azure for Students with no card, $50 per student on Google Cloud via faculty, free AWS Educate labs. Free tiers Always free limits on Google Cloud, AWS and Azure as of November 2026, plus trial credits on top: $300 for 90 days, $200 over 6 months, $200 for 30 days. API free tiers AI API free tiers as of November 2026: Gemini 2.5 Flash and Pro at no charge, OpenRouter free models at 50 requests a day, and the Groq Free plan.
