Advertising Policy
How the site makes money, how sponsored placements are labeled, and the standards our own Google and Meta ads and landing pages must meet.
Last updated: November 2, 2026
CloudAPIcredits is free to read and is paid for by affiliate income and advertising. This policy explains where the money comes from, how we label anything that is paid for, and the rules we hold our own ads to. It applies to https://www.cloudapicredits.com and to the ads {{COMPANY_LEGAL_NAME}} runs to bring people here.
1. How we make money
Affiliate and referral commissions. Our main income is commission paid by cloud and AI providers when a reader follows one of our links and signs up, adds a billing account or spends with that provider. The provider pays it; the reader's credit amount and price do not change. The Affiliate Disclosure describes this in detail, including how commission can affect the order of comparable offers but never whether an offer is listed or marked verified.
Sponsored placements. We may accept payment from a provider or another advertiser to feature an offer in a designated slot, such as a box at the top of a provider page or a highlighted card in a comparison. We do not currently run any, and we will update this policy when we do.
Display advertising. Some pages may carry banner ads served by an ad network. These are selected by the network, not by us, and are kept away from offer lists so they are not confused with provider-issued offers.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not accept payment to change a review score, a pricing figure, a quota figure or a verification status.
2. How paid placement is labeled
Anything an advertiser paid to place is labeled "Sponsored" in text, in the same size as the surrounding copy, placed where you will see it before you see the offer. The label is not hidden in a tooltip, an icon or a footer. Sponsored placements are visually separated from editorial offer lists, and a sponsored offer is never counted toward or displayed with a "Verified" badge unless our team has actually opened the official offer page or claimed the offer on the stated date, in which case the badge and the "Sponsored" label appear together.
Display ads served by a network are labeled "Advertisement". Affiliate links are disclosed on every page that contains them, as the Affiliate Disclosure describes.
These labels follow the Federal Trade Commission's Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials, 16 CFR Part 255, and the FTC's Enforcement Policy Statement on Deceptively Formatted Advertisements. We will not run a placement whose advertiser asks us to make the label less visible.
3. The ads we run
We buy ads on Google (Search and Display) and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) that point to our pages. We hold those ads and the pages they land on to the platforms' advertiser rules, and to our own standard that a reader who clicks an ad should find what the ad promised.
3.1 Google Ads
Our Google ads and landing pages are built to satisfy Google Ads' Misrepresentation policy, including its rules on unavailable offers, misleading or unrealistic promotions and unclear business identity, and the Google Ads Trademarks policy. In practice this means:
- an ad that names a credit amount or a trial links to a page where that offer is listed and was verified within the previous seven days;
- credit figures in ad copy match the provider's published terms, including validity periods and eligibility limits, and we do not advertise "up to" amounts we cannot point to on an official page;
- we do not advertise a discount or code for a provider that issues none; where a provider only offers a free tier or a program with an application, our ad says that;
- we never imply that credits can be bought from us, resold, or added to an existing account that does not qualify;
- every landing page shows our business name, a working contact method and links to our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use;
- landing pages load fast, work on phones, and do not hide content behind pop-ups.
3.2 Meta ads
Our Meta ads follow Meta's Advertising Standards, in particular the rules on unacceptable business practices, misleading claims, and personal attributes. We do not run ads that imply the reader has already received a credit, that use a provider's logo in a way that suggests the ad is from the provider, or that target people under 18. Where a Meta ad contains an affiliate link directly, it is marked as such.
3.3 Trademark use in ads
We may bid on provider names as keywords where the provider's affiliate or referral program terms permit it. Where the program prohibits brand bidding or using the brand in ad copy, we comply. We do not use a provider's name in a display URL or in a way that suggests the ad is the provider's own. Our ad copy never represents CloudAPIcredits as the provider itself.
4. Ad quality commitments
- No fake, expired or unverifiable offers in any ad or on any page an ad points to.
- No countdown timers, "only a few left" messages or other urgency devices that are not tied to a real, stated deadline published by the provider.
- No claims about credit amounts, validity, eligibility or program approval that we cannot source to the provider's own published terms.
- No ads that suggest credits, API keys or accounts are for sale, or that we can get a program application approved.
- No ads that target minors or that appear alongside content aimed at minors.
- Tracking pixels fire only after a visitor consents in our banner; declining does not change what the visitor sees.
- Ads that stop meeting these commitments, for example because the offer they name has ended, are paused within one business day of our re-check failing.
5. Advertiser standards for sponsored placements
If we accept a sponsored placement, the advertiser must be the provider that issues the offer or its authorized agency; must provide an offer we can verify on an official page; must agree that we may remove the placement if the offer fails re-checking; and must not ask us to alter editorial content, ratings or pricing figures. We decline sponsored placements from anyone selling or transferring credits or accounts, from anyone offering shared or pooled API keys, and from anyone whose offer we cannot verify.
6. How to report a misleading ad
If you clicked one of our ads and did not find what it promised, or you think a label on the Site is missing or unclear, email {{CONTACT_EMAIL}} with the ad text or a screenshot, the page you landed on and the date. We respond within two business days, and if the ad is wrong we pause it the same day. You can also report ads to Google at support.google.com/ads/troubleshooter/4578507 and to Meta through the menu on the ad itself.
